I have wanted to start a blog for about a year. I thought it would be something fun to do, a way to share and encourage. The one thing holding my back was a Title. Then this past spring it just came to me
Blueberries, Bees & Boys. Every word represents something important to me.
Blueberries...This is me taking dreams and making them real. We are trying our hand at a blueberry plant. My boys love blueberries, and they are very expensive here in Germany grocery stores. So we got ourselves a blueberry bush this past spring. It has been so fun
to watch it grow, to be able to see how the berries are formed, and of course eat them. It is a dream come true. So to me this bush represents taking a dream and making it real. Not just talking about doing something, but actually doing it. Showing my kids how to realize a dream, and see it through.

Bees... is a representation of something I would love to do one day, and dreams not yet realized. We love bees in our house. JJ loves honey and I love how they work in nature to help us survive. I would love to try owning a hive when we move back to the states. The boys want to learn to harvest honey, and then sell it. Where we live now, it is not a possibility. But Bees are the dream one day. We as a family have many dreams, and we are trying to check them off one by one. Some we can do now, and some will have to wait. But that is all part of life, and we are enjoying it.

Boys...That word I feel encompasses so much to mothers who have boys. I know more about dinosaurs and rock because of these little guys. I have memorized most of the super heroes. I can tell you the differences in
Marvel and
DC comics, and which heroes belong to which. 10 Years ago, I could maybe name three super heroes. They force me out of my comfort zone, and take me outside to play. I can handle spiders, insects, and most gross things. They have given me a thicker skin. With them, I get to reeducate myself in all subjects. As we homeschool I am relearning so much, right along with them. I love that I get to be their mom. When I was young I read a book
Wild At Heart, by John Eldredge. I yearned to be a mom of boys after reading that book. I am blessed with two sweet, kind boys. Who are my motherhood dreams come true.
