Where We Live In Germnay...
We are currently in our third year of living in Germany. I will admit that my ability to speak German is not good. But I am able to read a lot more that I used to. When we first moved here we lived in the Baumholder area. Our Village was a small little place called Ruschberg.
We lived at the top of a hill with a wonderful view of the rolling hills all around us.
After two years there, we go the opportunity to move to the Stuttgart area. We have been here for about 10 months now. Our village is bigger here, and we have access to move immediateness close
It is hard to live overseas. We miss being closer to family. We miss yellow lines on the road (all the lines in Germany are white except for construction areas). We miss being able to easily communicate with people (Although most Germans can speak English. The running joke with us is, if we ask "Sprichst Sie Englisch", they will say "Just a little." That means that they can probably understand us very well. They probably speak it way better than we do German).
I dreamed of exploring the world with my husband, and us showing it to our children. I am so thankful for all the adventures we have.

Since moving to Germany we have become a very active family. We run and bike together every week (counts as PE). We can go bouldering and swimming We have the ability to keep up a much healthier lifestyle.
We are thankful that Stuttgart has a larger homeschool community that we can connect with (was one of the main reasons that we relocated to Stuttgart). We have a lot more access to museums and fun field trips.
